David Bainbridge
David Bainbridge is a Research Ecologist focusing on dryland degradation and desertification, which now affects almost a billion people around the world, as his passion remains in how to understand, repair, and restore damaged ecosystems. He is an expert in the ecology of desert plants, explores the causes of desertification and land abuse, and outlines the processes and procedures needed to evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor desert restoration projects.
His past works includes environmental impact analysis, solar research (passive solar heating and cooling), Living Systems, natural building (e.g. straw bale), Sustainable Management, micro-irrigation, cool pool design, and true cost accounting.
