Indigenous Leadership and Perspective in Ecosystem Restoration

In this panel, two of the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, Agnes Pilgrim (Confederated Tribes of Siletz) and Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance (Lakota), Aleut messenger Ilarion Merculieff, and Keynote Ecosystem Restoration leader John D. Liu, all shared insights and discussed how global ecosystem restoration efforts can align and synergize with indigenous efforts – to protect and restore the living Earth, as well as understand how indigenous knowledge can guide our restoration efforts.

This panel discussion took place at the Global Earth Repair Conference in Port Townsend, Washington and was hosted by Timothy Sexauer, creator of the Muse Ecology podcast and host of the Ecosystem Restoration Deep Dive Webinar.
