Amy Eberling – Saving Puget Sound’s Orcas
Amy Eberling was a high school biology teacher for 7 years. She is now enjoying teaching in a classroom with no doors, the outdoors! Amy is especially enthusiastic about the Southern Resident Killer Whales and is working hard for their survival in all ways possible, including teaching others about them (especially kids!), working as a naturalist on a boat, and helping in the breaching of the lower Snake River dams efforts.

Workshop 1: Matrilineal and Reproductive Details of the Endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales
This workshop will describe the matrilines of the SRKWs and the potential for their reproductive capacity. As the mother of a four year old, I would also love to discuss ways to teach and get our kids involved daily with helping the SRKWs. As Chief Seattle once said “All things are bound together. All things are connected.”
