Grassroots, Mass Movements for Earth Repair in Africa and India.
We will show a number of short movies from Africa and India about restoration movements that involve millions of people and have successful outcomes. The world desperately needs grassroots, mass movement for climate stabilization. We can regreen the land, restore the hydrological cycle and feed the people. These movies are not about theory, they are about action. On-the- ground solutions.
AFRICA:

INDIA:
“Water Bandits” is a recently released film which features Rajendra Singh. Rajendra came to Port Townsend for the 1st Global Earth Repair Conference where we gave him an award for his great work in India.

A previous poster said we would show the movie Rivers Above the Canopy about the Amazon rainforest on April 7th. Due to the unexpected cost of the film, we have postponed showing this film till this next winter.
This will be the last showing of the Climate Solutions Film Series this Spring. We will resume this Fall.
