Global Earth Repair Convergence Officially Moved to 2026 due to Venue Complications
The Global Earth Repair Convergence is officially postponed till May 2026 due to circumstances at the venue. This takes place after previous delays, but we are committed to seeing this event come to fruition! We can’t wait to experience all of our friends and colleagues working together to plan and deploy the greatest works of our time.
The Global Earth Repair Convergence (GERC) 2026 will be a ground-breaking gathering of the world’s top scientists, visionaries, practitioners, and advocates of nature-based solutions to green the earth and cool the planet. The Convergence will highlight the most up-to-date solutions to climate warming, global drying, hunger, and biodiversity loss. This in-person and online collaborative event will feature over 150 speakers and workshop leaders representing the Earth Regeneration Movement. We want to make this one of the best events on the planet on restoring the climate through restoring ecosystems. This will also be an inaugural conference for the EcoRestoration Alliance!
We made this video to capture some of the best points from our last conference(s) and excite everyone for the upcoming event:
Resilience isn’t just a personal quality – it’s all about relationships. To build resilience together, we must network ourselves with each other, with the community of life, with the lands and waters, and with the Earth itself.
Six years ago, we had a massive Global Earth Repair Conference, where we taught and discussed and made plans to increase these relationships. Three years after that, we had an even bigger gathering online. There have been many things mentioned at each of these gatherings, but here we have assembled a few of the choice items from 2021 and 2022 into this inspiring piece. Hopefully it galvanizes you to connect to your local living network and increase the connections around you to this beautiful world. It’s in connection that we forge the bonds of Love, and Love is much more powerful than fear as a motivator for change.
This video features some voices that have helped us along the way – leading lights in local and global ecological restoration and climate healing. John D. Liu, Walter Jehne, Vandana Shiva, Jeannette Armstrong and Paul (Chiyokten) Wagner, in this case. We’ve attempted to encapsulate just a bit of their wisdom here – we are never separate from nature or the communities within it. We are absolutely and fully embedded in living systems, and the path to regeneration is forged through reconnecting and reciprocating with, as well as reconnecting to, those systems.
We hope you will take this open invitation to the Global Earth Repair Convergence, where these ideas will be more fine-tuned and consolidated into globally decentralized local and regional organizations that can apply the work henceforth.
