We are converging on solutions! Join us!
- We have had a slight name change. In a world full of conferences we chose a name that implied something more than just talking. A convergence is a coming together to converge our ideas and passions. To converge for a common goal of regenerating
the planet. - People who love the Earth are converging.
- Earth Repair Scientists & Practitioners are converging.
- People who love the animals, plants and biodiversity are converging
- Indigenous wisdom, worldview and traditional knowledge are converging
- Body, Mind and Spirit are converging.
- Bioregional Representatives are converging
- Young & old are converging. Multi-generational.
- The past and future converging.
- Earth Regeneration techniques and Climate Solutions are Converging.
- We are converging to share our stories, techniques and successes.

Convergence: some definitions applicable to our gathering
- The act of converging and especially moving toward union.
- The coordinated movement of the two eyes so that the image of a single point is
formed on corresponding retinal areas. - Convergent evolution. Two distinct animals or plants evolving in different places
develop similar traits or forms in response to their environment. Grassroots people
in Africa, Asia, India, Australia have developed similar strategies in isolation. Such as
strategies for holding water in the landscape. Grassroots movements are evolving
around the world without top-down leadership. - To tend or move toward one point or one another : come together : meet:

We want to celebrate our convergence.
We want to celebrate the climate solutions.
We want to laugh, sing and dance together.
We want to have a good time!
We want music, art and poetry.
We want an outpouring of love and camaraderie.
We want to feed our spirits.
The Global Earth Repair Convergence & Festival is like two gatherings in one.
- The Convergence features workshops, presentations, keynotes and action planning sessions.
- The Festival features entertainment, music, song, poetry, art, hands-on activities, exhibitions, vendors as well as the spoken word. There will be inspiring messages between music sets.
- Both will be filled with educational content. The Fort Worden conference facilities can only hold so many people and we want to
bring together more people then they can handle. A Convergence ticket includes all the indoor content as well as all festival activities. A Festival ticket costs less which enables more people to participate and partake of the climate solutions content of the overall event.
Extra Convergences of thought. The independent development of similarities between separate cultures. Indo-Europeanists often find it difficult to know whether they have to deal with cultural characteristics that have been borrowed or inherited, or are the product merely of a convergence… - Hands & hearts are converging.
- In 2019 we held the 1 st Global Earth Repair Conference. In 2025 we are converging. We need to come together at this time of crisis and opportunity.
