Workshop(s)

Workshop 1: Ecosystem Restoration

Ecosystem Restoration is the highest level of practice for Permaculture in ecological design. It involves the understanding of historical and biological data for Earth Repair. Systems are in place for consistent principles and practices in evaluating, monitoring, mapping, and coordinating the design solutions. In this workshop we will study the Society of Ecological Restoration International Primers, and those of Australia and Canadian.

Workshop 2: Earth Surgeons, United Designers

Team design is the key to large scale ecosystem restoration. This workshop will explain the United Designer cooperative design process. Lead designer Danial Halsey will present case studies, international projects and the layered detail needed in assessment and design concepts for large scale ecological design.
