Global Earth Repair Action Plan
Introduction and Invitation
This is a set of recommendations; or even better, a collating of ideas.
To speak from the voices of those attending the Global Earth Repair Summit 2022, and to be heard around the moment when the world is listening more than usual – the Conference of the Parties, or COP 27—the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, is happening this November 6-18, 2022 – we are inviting collaboration on forming a plan of action.
Who are we to decide what a plan of action for the world is to be? With this we agree; we may see some strategies, proposals, and examples of action as legitimate and worth considering. We will echo these, spread the word about them, and even join them as groups and individuals. However, we know that social and ecological action will happen in a decentralized diversity.
Therefore, our goal in this is to collect, coagulate, and visiblize all those ideas and action steps that come from 4 days of gathering together to discuss ecosystem regeneration – earth repair. We are part of this ecosystem, and so as we work toward ecological restoration, we also work toward people’s liberation – in social, economic, and all dimensions. We are not authors of this.
How Will We Come Up With the Action Plan?
The action plan is a plan in name only. Truly, it is an invitation to collect all those action steps and ideas that come out of the discussions, presentations, and workshops within the summit.
We invite you to ask yourself, “what are the actionable ideas coming out of this session?”
Sit with the meditation throughout each discussion, “what is an action step here?”
The Global Earth Repair Action Plan will consist of living documents (see below – just the beginning) – they will be added to, referenced, and edited as we move toward the 2023 Global Earth Repair Summit in April, and toward a regenerative future together.
We will then collect all these—along with entire proposals, patterns, and examples of effective action—and coalesce them into a visible format that people can engage with to get involved.
How Will We Present the Action Plan?
We are working on a number of platforms and modes of presentation to put forward these ideas.

Our presenters and organizers, and maybe many of you, are connected to both people and influencers going into the COP 27 conference, as well as people’s movements and alliances that will be gathering outside of it to call for real solutions to our shared biospheric crises.
This action plan can be shared through all these avenues within and outside of COP 27.
