John D. Liu – Greening Arid Lands by Restoring Ecosystems – Drylands Permaculture Course
As an “Ecosystem Ambassador,” John D. Liu has been dedicated to documenting and aiding the restoration of ecosystems, globally, for decades. He got his start in Ecology when he was documenting the monumental ecosystem improvements in the Loess Plateau in China in the mid-1990’s. What he discovered there opened a road that has led around the world, and thankfully, to us as well. In this video, John shares his experience and reminds us how abundantly possible it is to achieve massive ecosystem restoration, with concerted effort on the part of large groups of people. The clear examples of how these changes have been achieved are as numerous as they are astounding. Thank you again for joining us, John!
