Supporting the 2025 Global Earth Repair Convergence, Funding Worldwide Ecosystem Regeneration

The Global Earth Repair Convergence & Festival is set for May 9–13, 2025, on the beautiful, ecologically rich Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. This transformative event focuses on immediate, practical, and accessible low-tech solutions to the climate and ecological crises. Unlike corporate- and policy-driven conferences like COP, this grassroots gathering emphasizes nature-based regenerative approaches to strengthen local resilience from the ground up.

Our core message: Greening the landscape to cool the planet.

Why Fund the Global Earth Repair Convergence?

1. Regenerative Solutions:
We focus on biological methods that work with nature, such as agroforestry, rotational grazing, water retention, erosion control, wetland restoration, and more. These proven techniques restore ecosystems, sequester carbon, and stabilize local climates—scalable solutions with global potential.

2. Localization & Resilience:
The convergence promotes local, sustainable food systems and community-centered supply chains. By emphasizing self-sufficient solutions, we reduce reliance on destructive global systems and empower communities to heal their environments.

3. Global Inclusion:
With over 100 organizations involved, including Indigenous leaders, we create a platform for traditional ecological knowledge. This collaboration ensures solutions are inclusive, equitable, and culturally relevant.

4. Immediate, Action-Oriented Results:
This isn’t about policy debates—it’s about sharing real-world, tested solutions. Participants will leave equipped to implement changes in their communities without waiting for bureaucratic red tape.

5. Celebration and Community:
More than just a conference, the convergence is a festival celebrating the Earth and the global earth repair movement. With music, hands-on activities, and a family-friendly atmosphere, we aim to inspire hope and joy alongside action.

Funding Goals:

  1. International Delegates & Indigenous Leaders:
Support travel for key representatives, particularly from the Global South and Indigenous communities, whose perspectives are vital for global solutions.
  2. Tech & Venue Costs:
Enable hybrid participation through live streaming and ensure a smooth, accessible event for in-person and remote attendees.
  3. Decentralized Hubs:
Establish local hubs worldwide to continue the work beyond the convergence.
  4. Dedicated Staff:
Hire professionals to manage planning, logistics, and execution to ensure success.

This is a global call to action, and we need your help to create measurable, grassroots change for ecological restoration and climate healing. This is your chance to support not just a single event but ongoing system-wide ecosystem regeneration.

Funding Ongoing Earth Repair – The Earth Regeneration Fund

Going forward from this event, we will be using proceeds from the convergence itself as well as ongoing fundraising in a dedicated way to assist grassroots efforts in the fields of indigenous land management, regenerative agriculture, community watershed actions and aquifer recharge, the list goes on. So everything we raise here, there and everywhere will be going not only to put on the best event possible, it will literally be put into the ground and into empowering healthy stewardship practices, restoring the ecosystem, and cooling the planet! For more information on this concept of the Earth Regeneration Fund, check out this blog post about it from one of our core collaborators, Joe Brewer.
