Workshop 1: Earth Repair is People Repair

The earth’s condition is a reflection of its people’s condition. To repair our shared- Pale Blue Dot- is to repair what it means to be human. It is to repair what it means to interact and to engage within a living system. This session is an interactive provocation designed to spark inquiry, foster reflection, and emerge glocal perspectives. Each participant will create a personal Activate! Mini-Guide of Small, Mighty Actions responsive to their respective communities and spheres of interaction.

“To my mind, there is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”

— Carl Sagan
