Climate Solution Leaders – Leading Lights in Regeneration

I have been studying and writing about planetary regeneration since 1974. I have read the work of thousands of authors over the years, watched hundreds of YouTube videos, and am now researching the best movies for our Climate Solutions Film Festival. In the last few years I have made a determined effort to find the people who are articulating the best, planetary climate solutions. My research and understanding has been greatly abetted by becoming a member of the EcoRestoration Alliance and attending their zoom meeting where I get to meet many of these top scientists and practitioners. Becoming a Senior Fellow of the Global Evergreening Alliance has put me in touch with other top people. John D. Liu of the Ecosystem Restoration Camps/Communities has given me many insights.
Here is my list of top people the world should be listening to. Some of them are already listed in our Hall of Fame – in those cases we’ve included the link to those pages, which will have links to their corresponding webpages and/or social media accounts.
It should be noted that while they may not all appear on this list, most indigenous leaders acting in the interests of the ecosystems and natural well-being of their lands are necessarily expert land restorers and preservers. Also, the permaculture community in general has countless thought leaders in these practices, and permaculture as a practice (which must give over recognition of its inspiration to indigenous land-and-water management practices) is an excellent place to start if you want to know more about the principles of raising and building robust and varied ecologies.
