Our Earth Repair Video Series on YouTube Continues

There are several more installments to this series yet to come, but here we have the announcement of our intention to create a full set of instructional material. Thanks to John D. Liu and Michael Pilarski for this awesome collaboration; it will form the basis of many ecosystem repair curricula around the world.

We have begun releasing and working on parts of a series of videos around actual methods for restoring landscapes, sequestering carbon, infiltrating rainwater, and generally improving the environment. This video is an announcement that we are in the midst of releasing this comprehensive set of curriculum around this subject – stay tuned for more very soon! You don’t have to go far, here’s the first one released after this announcement:

As our “How to Repair the Earth” series continues, Michael goes in depth into something very important to all of us – water! Improper land use practices and lack of erosion control methods have led to some disastrous consequences in terms of desertification – drought and flash floods are among the disasters that can come from this. Skeeter has spent his life learning, teaching and deploying these methods, and here he talks about many of the things that people are doing around the world right now to reverse these trends! The results are mind-bogglingly beautiful and heart-meltingly hopeful wherever everyday people do the work, together, to reverse processes that tend to be considered outside of our control. The truth is that we’re anything BUT powerless! We can do this NOW! We can build meaningful and lasting change that repairs the water cycle, restoring the biosphere and the climate.
